NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser Review

Hey Beauties!

Its not often that i find myself wearing much makeup these days, i feel like my whole idea on makeup has changed quite a lot lately it was always my way of thinking as a makeup artist but never for myself. I have always been a firm believer in you never need a really thick heavy foundation because it removes everything from your face making it look like a mask, that’s not something i ever enjoyed doing on people.
When doing makeup your base specifically i would always do a light coverage all over this way you still see the skin shining through you get that youthful dewy glow, and you use a high coverage concealer on the parts of your face you dont like this works fantastically on people with acne because it makes it look as if your skin is perfect without covering it with a mask of thick foundation.

One of my favourite light coverage products to use is the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser, you hear the words “Tinted Moisturiser” but surprisingly this has a good bit of coverage in it somewhere between a traditional tinted moisturiser and a foundation. Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser comes in 12 shades for reference i am Alaska which is Light 2.
When i use this i always apply it with a Beauty Blender as i feel like this type of product does not apply well with a brush as you get a bit of streaking but when applied with a sponge it blend beautifully and almost becomes part of the skin itself.

Even though this does offer a fair bit of coverage for what it is, its not a foundation in no way shape or form it just unifies the skin tone so it looks more even as i was saying earlier in the post when using this i tend to apply it everywhere then use a thicker concealer like the MAC Studio Finish or the Amazing Cosmetics Amazing Concealer as these are both high coverage and will camouflage things with making my skin look like a mask.

When primed and set with a good powder i usually get at least 5/6 hours wear out of this before i would need to touch up, i find because my skin is on the olier end of combination skin i tend to get that but if you had a drier skin type you would get more as there arent as much oils to break it down.
Speaking of dry skin this is also a great base for those of you that do like a full coverage or if a foundation is to dry for you. This can be applied like you would a moisturiser and then applying a medium coverage foundation on top this will stop it from going cakey and looking dry on your skinNARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser Review

Even though NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser does contain an SPF 30 PA+++ i would still apply your daily SPF before using this as i wouldnt want to take the chance.

You can find this in House of Fraser as well as online here and in store at SpaceNK for £30.
