Dermatica UK Online Dermatology Service Review

Dermatica UK Online Dermatology Service Review

Welcome Skintellectuals!

Being honest i was a little apprehensive to post about Dermatica at first because i thought it might be a bit of a cowboy operation but the more i worked with them and talked with them i realised this is a really fantastic service.
As you know Dermatology in the UK is completely different than that of the US its often hard to speak to a Dermatologist and if you do its after months of waiting on the NHS. Dermatica is an online service that provides access to prescription strength skincare for those of you with skin concerns as well as supplying for anti aging.

Dermatica UK Online Dermatology Service Review

Dermatica has a full dermatology team including Consultant Dermatologists, pharmacists that specialise in dermatology, GPs, and clinical researchers. Dermatica is fuelled by hundreds of hours of clinical research across their multi-specialist team.

I was a bit worried at the start as i said but to put everyone at ease Dermatica is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (here) as well as MHRA (here)

Dermatica UK Online Dermatology Service Review

To use the Dermatica service is really easy all you have to do is visit and take their online consultation in which you can choose from skin problems or anti aging. Once you have completed the consultation it will ask you to upload a photo to show the team at Dermatica so they can best help you.

Dermatica have a range of different prescription skincare items such as
Tretinoin, Tazarotene, Adapalene, Benzoyl Peroxide, Azelaic acid,
Niacinamide, Hydroquinone and Clindamycin

I have been using for the past 2 months; Epiduo which is a combination of Adapalene with Benzoyl Peroxide and Azelaic acid. If you are interested i will write up how i am getting on with both of them. All i will say just now is in 2 months ive had only one break out and that’s it! which is a massive difference from always waking up with break out around my mouth and chin.

What i really love about Dermatica is not only are they super friendly, the Consultant Dermatologist that works with them Dr Spierings is so knowledgeable! Something that i found interesting was that with every order they give you a “how to guide” showing you how to apply your prescription product and telling you a little about what it is and what it does.

I honestly would recommend this service to anyone who wants to deal with their skin issues as well as people who want to use Adapalene (Differin in the US) as prescription strength retinol has been shown to be far better than over the counter at combating the signs of aging.

If you are interested Dermatic is £19.99 a month and each month you get a fresh supply of products so what you are using is always potent, i do find that there is some product waste but i just use up the tube until i get to the next one.

If you are interested in signing up for Dermatic use the code “SKIN” and get your first month for only £4.99!

Have you used Adapalene before?
