Pixi Glow Tonic – Worth The Hype??

12th July 2019 in Exfoliation, Skincare - 3 Comments - 2 min read

Welcome, Skintellectuals!

I don’t tend to be the type of person that buys into the hype, to be honest, I’m usually one of the last people to try something because how good can a product really be?
Well, let me tell you the hype for Glow Tonic is real and every bit deserved.
I know that the idea of another step in your skincare routine might seem a bit much but I would say this is one step you don’t want to miss out!

What is it?

Glow Tonic is an exfoliating toner containing Glycolic Acid commonly known as an AHA or Alpha Hydroxy Acid – this awesome ingredient can help to slough off dead skin cells on the outer most layer of the skin.

Pixi Glow Tonic - Worth The Hype??

What does it do?

Glow Tonic is fantastic for those of you looking for a brighter more even skin tone, since Glycolic is such a small molecule it can penetrate deep into the skin giving the skin a number of anti-ageing benefits as glycolic stimulate fibroblast cells deep in the dermis which then creates more collagen leading to a firmer more bouncy skin.

How do you use it?

Use in the PM after cleansing, think of this like a toner that’s where you want to use it. I saturate a cotton pad with glow tonic and apply it to my face making sure not to go too near the eyes with it.

Closing Thoughts

Glow Tonic has to be one of my most favourite products out there, its definitely in my hall of fame just for how effective it is. It is one of the few products with glycolic in it that my skin doesn’t absolutely hate, I think down to the soothing ingredients.

If you are interested in trying out Pixi Glow Tonic you can find it online at or in Boots and Marks and Spencers. Sizes available – 15ml, 100ml, 250ml (500ml Special Edition bottles not for regular sale)
