Deviant Skincare Cleansing Concentrate

Welcome, Skinfluencers!

If there is one part of my skincare routine I love the most its cleansing…weird I know but I love a good cleanser and more importantly, a balm cleanser! When I came across this brand on Instagram I debated for a long time if I wanted to buy it because it was a little expensive but I’m so glad that I did!

Deviant Skincare is the brainchild of Natalie Smyth you may know her as @roadtoglow on Instagram. Not only do I love their product I love the whole ethos behind the brand, Deviant describes themselves as:

We want to desegregate beauty, to deviate from gender-specific, age-specific, and trend-driven product development and marketing. Our mission is to create products unbound by gender, age or time; effective formulas that respect the integrity of skin and provide real results. Skincare should simply be the harmony of purpose and formula: meaningful products, with potent, efficacious ingredients that truly benefit skin.

Deviant Skincare Cleansing Concentrate

What is it?

Deviant Skincare Cleansing Concentrate is a balm-to-milk cleanser that would work best as a first cleanse to remove makeup and sunscreen.

This awesome cleanser contains Hemp and Camellia Seed which help to soften congestion whilst a blend of Sacha Inchi, Blueberry and Borage soothe against oxidative-stress caused by extrinsic factors.

How do you use it?

I use this as my first cleanse in the PM. I take a small amount from the pot warm it up between my hand and massage it on my face then I wet my hands to emulsify it. At this stage, you can just use water and wash it off but I personally love a face cloth so that is how I remove it.

Results?

Straight away as it washes the makeup and sunscreen off your face whilst leaving it feeling soft.

Final Thoughts?

While this is a more expensive cleanser i see this as a treat for my skin because not only is it great at removing makeup and sunscreen, the product itself is so well formulated. This is a really basic cleanser that actually does what it says it will do without all the bells and whistles of some other products which i just find unnecessary.

Cleansing is one of my favorite steps as well – it just helps me end the day.
